Maserati’s New Track Orientated GT S

Maserati has announced that it will make a faster and lighter version of its already very fast Maserati GT S.

Named the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale, it features a number of both cosmetic and mechanical changes. has moved to new Read this article here at Maserati’s New Track Orientated GT S or visit for more motoring news.

On the outside, it will feature a new front splitter, rear diffuser, enlarged side sills and wheel arches, and new light surrounds, giving it a more aggressive stance, similar to that of the Ferrari Enzo rival, the Maserati MC12.

Inside, it will have a unique trim that remains similar to the original, however, it will feature lashings of carbon fibre alongside the normal leather trim.

Underneath the bonnet, the 4.7 litre V8 engine has been modified to give 444 bhp, 11 bhp more than the standard car’s 433 bhp.

The engine changes, combined with exhaust and suspension upgrades, as well as a reduction in weight, will allow the MC to go from 0-60 mph in less than 4.5 seconds, and on to an eventual top speed of around 190 mph – just a fraction more than the original 186 mph top speed.

The car will be released in the Spring of next year and will cost nearly £20,000 more than the standard S’ £87,000, meaning a fairly wallet-busting price of £105,000, and that’s before the option list is even given a glance.

But, for those who want to see one before next Spring, the GT MC S will be unveiled at the upcoming Paris Motor Show.
