This is the DB5’s first trip to England since it was bought by American radio DJ Jerry Lee in 1969.
It will feature at this year’s Stoke Park Club Midsummer Classic concours event held on 26th June. Also featured at the event, held in partnership with Aston Martin, will be 50 of the finest Aston Martins from around the world and some of Aston Martin’s more recent models, including the four door Aston Martin Rapide and the £1.2 million Aston Martin One-77 hyper car.
This will also be an opportunity for potential buyers to look at the legendary DB5 before it goes on sale in October when it forms part of RM’s “Automobiles of London” auction. It is expected to cost one lucky buyer the very small sum of £4 million.
